everyone in that story believes in god...there wasnt an atheist involved

other than that great analogy....its almost just like saying a soldier was KIA because god hates Romes
I am refuting what Dio posted. And very effectively I might add.

ice grillin you

dio said hes never read about atheists interrupting or protesting funerals...for the record im not saying thats never happened i have no idea

but since no atheists were involved in your example then none could have interrupted or protested anything (furthermore no funeral was interrupted or protested anyway)

so really it was as big a reach as you could have found

congrats dope

Neither you nor I know the religious leanings of the cemetery director. However, if the ruling came down to the director from higher-ups in DC, I would have the assumption it came from the godless communists to whom BHO has given positions.

You obviously have no idea what effectively means.

Funerals weren't interrupted by anybody. Sounds like in TX, they take the surprisingly take separation of church and state seriously, but that's an entirely different discussion than bible thumpers vs. athiests

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Anyone see Jon Stewart last night.  If not check out the correspondents bit on Iowa.  One of the funniest and grossest things I've ever seen.  Holy shtein.

The worst part was when he dipped the butter into the mayo.  I was laughing so hard I almost choked on my own spit.

Rick Perry announced and my first reaction is he will win the GOP nomination and be the guy to face Obama.

Second reaction is "oh great another farging Christian rightie"

I don't think moderate Americans are ready to elect another Texas gov, especially one that asks for "days of prayer"

I still think it'll be Mitt too.
