I have to say that for a while, I dealt with the statuses and whatever because well, they just didn't like Obama (for whatever reason). That's their right to dislike who was voted in and comment on it.

But anyone who didn't like him and made black jokes got deleted. As the past 2 years went on, it got worse and worse. Now I've deleted probably 90% of the far Right folk who were on there.

The right it in an uproar over this pic being used on Newsweek for Michelle Bachmann:

"Liberal bias"

why? She's looks like a psychotic in EVERY picture. What makes that one different?

Fox was all over that yesterday.  For people who are so vicious and relentless in their partisanship their ability to cast themselves as victims is truly impressive.

Rick Perry to announce Saturday. That will make Bachmann irrelevant.

yeah its like they have never seen her before

the chris matthews interview was all time classic

the fact that she is as popular as she is is a testament to how farged up the right is but lets be real she simply has zero chance to ever be president and if you ask any republican off the record they are praying to jesus that she doesnt somehow get the nomination...even tho the pub nom is a long shot in itself

And that's a good thing?  Perry wants to be the Ayatollah of the Christian States of America.  He's just as scary.

He is a religious guy but I won't hold that against him. He is a strong fiscal conservative.

rjs246

So you're willing to vote for a lunatic who talks about secession and is scary in his religious views because he is a 'fiscal conservative'? Super.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

I really don't care about religious views. As far as secession, here in SC there is again talk about secession. It all revolves around the NLRB suit against Boeing. I don't know if I am for or against secession but I am certainly incensed about how the NLRB is overstepping it's charter. Those jerkoffs are carrying water for the labor unions they are so indebted to. AND, IT IS ABSOLUTELY BHO'S FAULT!!! HE IS A SPINELESS corksuckING JERKOFF!!! HE SHOULD BE RECALLED!!

I'm pretty sure the rest of America would be just fine with losing the Bible Belt at this point.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

I very much care about a candidate's religious beliefs.  I don't care if he/she has them, but I don't want that person to be so over zealous with their beliefs that they may try and change the laws of this country to fall in line with those beliefs.  Live your life by the rules of your religion if you want to but don't try and make them the laws that I have to abide by.

If our laws were all based on religious doctrine, I'd be on the FBI's Top 10 list.

You do (obviously not) realize that all of our laws originate from religious doctrine, right? As does most every other nation.

There's no religious doctrine that says I can't drive 55
