he and his administration should answer for that program, and their should be an investigation.

of course, the investigation will be more witch hunt and bang on Obama time than actually investigation, and no one of consequence will lose his job...some poor low level schmuck will lose his job and reputation...

Still...heavy is the head that wears the crown...Obama should pre-empt the rabid conservative dogs by doing something about it asap

Republican response:

Nevermind that increasingly rich=white and poor=brown; talking about that is tantamount to compounding class warfare with race warfare, both of which are unAmerican.

poor people are poor because they are stupid and lazy and content to steal from rich people.  (winking all the while to their KKK base)

rich people are rich because they are smart and industrious and without them we'd all be eating dirt because no one would take the risks to become billionares.   (sucking all the while on the moneydick of their corporate masters)

yea got to get someone in there who wont raise taxes

let the job creators keep what they earned!
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

New favorite Republican talking point: "Americans overwhelmingly support balancing our budget", without adding in that the same polls show that Americans overwhelmingly support doing so with a mixture of spending cuts AND tax increases.

Hey Munson, why no plan from your boy BHO? He can read the shtein out of a tele-prompter but adds nothing to the equation. He is an empty farging suit. Why not put his deficit reduction plan in black and white? Because he has no plan, just "hope and change". He is a piece of shtein.

Munson

I'm pretty sure he was pushing very heavily the deal to cut almost 4 trillion over the next 10 years, with 1 trillion of that being in tax revenue and the other 3 being in deficit cuts. He was pushing that deal very hard but that's when he and Cantor started bitching each other out and walking out of meetings.

But you can keep listening to Hannity's talking points about how Obama hasn't been vocal with any plans. Two weeks ago that WAS the plan.

He has vacillated all over the lot on this. His lack of leadership will be proven when he signs a piece of legislation this weekend or Monday that is completely contrary to Soros'  script that he read the other night. As far as Hannity is concerned, I am not a big fan. I haven't paid attention to him in years. He is one of the social conservative jackholes. I could care less about gay marriage, abortion or prayer in schools. At crisis points, the country needs a leader and BHO ain't it. I swear if you pay enough attention, you can see Soros' hand up his back working his mouth.

Diomedes

I'm not losing any sleep of over this because if shtein comes to beef Obama will just unilaterally increase the debt limit and we'll move on.  It's ultimately a non issue.

Munson

Ah, so you're Glenn Beck then (Soros runs the country!)

Yeah, Roger Ailes and his fact distorting politics and "news" certainly don't..

And what will you have Obama do? Two weeks ago, he was trying to work with leaders of the House and Senate on a package that called for 4 trillion in cuts over the next 10 years. The idea was given the axe because Republicans in the House couldn't stomach that 17% of the plan came from increased tax revenue. How exactly is Obama supposed to lead there? Tell the House republicans he'll execute them if they don't vote for it? He appealed to them in every which way possible and they still wouldn't budge.

You're trying really, really hard to place the blame on Obama for this when the fault lies on a small radical sector of the House Republicans. Not even their own Speaker can get them to move towards the middle and compromise.

God no, not Beck. I can think for myself. Really, the one I watch most on FNC is Greta.

That small group of radicals I liken to the small group of radicals who led a revolution against George III, 200 and some years ago.

Nice debating with you guys, I gotta run. Going away for the weekend. Taking the boat down to Savannah.

Munson

Oh my good god....we need a facepalm smiley here.
