can't help but assume that's why she resigned as governor.  gotta strike while the iron's hot and while i'm sure the alaskan governor makes a decent living, it's nothing in comparison to the $100k fee she's getting per public speaking appearance. 

hell, 1 appearance a month for a year is probably 5+ years of her gov salary.

that was the rate for her speech at the tea party event a few days ago.  she claimed that the money was going right back into the party and that she wasn't going to make a dime off of it but i'm not buying that for an instant.  and even if she did give it back, there's a motive behind it.  somewhere down the line it's going to benefit her pocket book one way or another (perhaps 2012 campaign financing).  politicians don't do anything unless there's something in it for them.

if she was she would still be fiddling away was governor in alaska. she says things that might be construed as her running so the dolts who worship her will continue to worship her and most importantly give her money.

shes uneducated alaskain white trash but to her credit she has milked this for all its worth and will most certainly continue caking for years to come.
