If illegal immigrants cost us in health care, law enforcement, and other ways, it must also be noted they help us as well.  God knows your precious children won't be busting their asses harvesting tomatoes or laying hot tar roofs in Texas, the good for nothing spoiled little American miracles that they are.

It's gotten to the point with me that when I read or hear someone bitching about illegal immigrants, all I hear is 'I hate the mexicans,' because that's about what the argument boils down to.

Everything except the "about".  Has anyone ever done an analysis on how much money illegals generate for this country?  Or productivity?

We had a new patio put in, all the workers were illegals.  They busted their ass for 2 solid days, were gracious and polite when we bought them lunch, and did a beautiful job.  They're OK by me.

What you don't know is that worker is getting paid a pittance compared to what a legal worker would get. But hey, they were very gracious and said yes sir and not sir, so it's all right.
