I don't agree with all the little comments inserted in the video, but to give infastructre jobs to people who are not highly skilled  :o WTF.

PoopyfaceMcGee

People who suck at everything they do need work too.

How do you think that bridge in Minnesota got built?

Agreed, but how about we make them the gophers and flag people during construction. Not the ones working onthe structure!!

You want to believe the idea is to disenfranchise white men, I'm not going to argue with you.  Go tell it to the kkk meeting.

aw shucks you got me, thats what I said!

His idea is to give jobs to people who are not as highly skilled as others. I understand the need to make sure unemployed, underskilled people of all color have a chance to do jobs, but how about you have them work on the national census or another job that requires a little less skill.

reese125

theres nothing wrong with your line of thinking Mic--Dio's a good man--he just wants everyone to be able to dig no matter the color.

bottom line...if you dont know how to hold a hammer get the farg off the bridge Im driving on

phillymic2000

And i understand the need for everyone to have a chance at work.

I deal with engineers of all colors on a daily basis. There is no colorline in that field. Granted most older higher level engineers are white guys but come on, the educational opportunities for white men were far greater 30 and 40 years ago.

A very nice piece about what Obama can learn from Reagan.

It smacks of damning with faint praise. A typical LA Times hatchet piece. I can't believe I wasted my time reading that drivel. I really and truly hope the author dies a slow and horrible death.

I used to work at a small engineering firm in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. All of my coworkers were white and it was common knowledge that the owner/boss, a liscensed and competent engineer, would never hire a black man. This was in 1997.

I always think of this example whenever I hear douchebags trying to argue that we no longer need affirmative action.

Well, part of the obvious point is that the guy isn't a fan of Reagan's policies, but the point of the article is valid in that Obama can learn a whole lot from his approach to the President's role. But feel free to display your Reaganrager for all the ladies.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?
