My night is going to involve some beer and the african watering hole. I'm hooked.

me too

the coolest thing about it is that youre watching africa live...like you can watch the sun rise in friggin africa...i dont why but its so surreal to me...i dont even need any animal johnsons walking by...

god im a loser

You know, you could just suck it up, get on a plane, and see the sun rise in any part of the world you want. I've seen the sun rise in Greece, Turkey, Australia, the Netherlands, Great Britain, the Bahamas and Brussels and none of it was viewed on a monitor. Airplanes are teh awesome!
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

I don't know from experience...but from the grunting and splashing, I can make a good guess.

There are some strange noises going on right now...but there's nothing at the water.

something is back, maybe BigEd can tell us what they are?

Not a wildebeest. Maybe an African buffalo (which is NOT a water buffalo).

By the end of my lifetime, most of the animals we're watching will exist only in zoos or fenced "parks."

We already know it is.  During daylight hours when the camera pans you can see a lodge in the background.

I don't know about the location of the National Geographic stream.
