Those things have been proven to greatly reduce roadkill.  If the animals have a safe route across a highway, they take it.  We have a bridge going in nearby that will have a new passageway under the road which didn't exist before.  It'll be huge, not small like this one..they don't have to be large enough to drive a truck through, but it's fantastica ll the same that in addition to people having a new, safe way to move from one part of the park to another, the animals will use it too.

I watch way too many wildlife shows. The social makeup of Lion prides is fascinating. The matriarch is the leader of the hyenas, females grow 20% larger than males. They’re really freaks of nature, their reproductive organ is pointed out like a penis. They’re technically felines but behave more like canines. African wild dogs are the real badasses, they’re the most successful hunters in Africa.
