where have the sacks gone?

There easily could have been 4 or 5 sacks yesterday if Brunnel was such a Hoyda. As soon as there was any pressure he threw it away. Sacks are great but notice our D lets up less points when there are few sacks?

Probably true, but it's hard to argue how important he was to the success of the line.

true i rather take a win while holding the team to 3pts but i also know we wont be able to rely on our D to hold teams to just 3 pts and have the opposing QB throw us INTs. our D line has been rather lackluster these past 5 weeks.

i wish Donovan would act like a Hoyda that way sometimes.

The D-line hasn't been shooting gaps to get pressure but they've been standing the O-line up to create holes for LBs to blitz - which was very effective yesterday.

Whenever he's throwing worm-burners out there, you know he's throwing them away.

Honestly.

Jevon Kearse is done in Philly, Pa.

Fixed.  A lot.

How is Kearse's contract structured?  Is he due a huge sum of money next season?  Because if he's not, I still see him here.  As FF said, having him and Howard bookend the line was huge.  Without Kearse, it's not nearly as effective.

ice grillin you

kearse is due 7.3 mil next year....thats a lot of money

but one thing that favors him staying is that they prorated his signing bonus out pretty evenly...as opposed to giving him a huge chunk early....therefore if they cut him next year his dead money number will be huge

Why?  Cause he's black?

Walker is not black. I don't know where that's coming from.
