There are a lot of 'rumored' deals out there that seem too good to be true. I'm glad to see his trade value has gone up considerably (no idea why) since last season, I just hope they aren't red herrings or false rumors.

They'll be lucky to get Jalen Rose and a 2nd rounder.

the best of those scenarios is easily boston.  the bulls one is nice too.

Expiring contracts, please. That's all that matters.

The Bulls deal would be nuts, though. That cannot be right.
I don't really like it at all, the pick is going to be in the 20s. Gordon is the definition of inconsistent. If they got the Knicks pick, then I'd be all over that.

im passing this along for conversation and humor only.  i got it off another board, which in-turn got it from another board.  it's probably the worst deal ever.

QuoteAfter 11 years in Philadelphia, Allen Iverson is heading to New York several sources are confirming. The deal, which has yet to be officially announced or confirmed by either team, is said to include Kyle Korver and Kevin Ollie along side Iverson in exchange for Steve Francis and Jamal Crawford. Neither team could be reached for further comment. The deal makes sense financially versus the cap for both clubs.
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Francis hasn't been "Franchise" since he left UM.

Holy shtein, no kidding. If they did that I wouldn't be a 76er fan until every single player/coach/owner involved in the team is dead.

Isiah Thomas is the only GM in sports that makes Billy King look smart.

PoopyfaceMcGee

If they do that deal, I'm simply done.  I don't like NBA basketball enough to absolutely HAVE to be a Sixers fan.

Now you just took it too far.

PoopyfaceMcGee

Um, it's true.  Also, Tom Glavine is the only pitcher in the majors that makes Jamie Moyer look young.

Ha.

I'm hoping the Knicks situation is not true.

the rumored Charlotte trade would be optimal.

Steve Francis, Quentin Richardson, Malik Rose and Channing Frye. Id be on it for this many reasons--and so would Isiah to save his job

Francis can handle the rock and needs the ball in his hands ALOT to put up any kind of mediocre stats now. He doesnt have that luxury with Marbury
Q Rich can shoot the trey as well as rebound his ass off for put-backs (injury and inconsistency is a concern though)
Rose--null and void
Frye--going to have a great future in the NBA

It doesnt make me anyone do backflips, but those pieces with Iggy and the rest and you have at least a competitor worth watching

The only problem you have now is Mo Cheeks--who cant coach worth a lick

You guys DO NOT want Steve Francis on the Sixers.

Repeat after me:  DO NOT.
