nobody will take webber unless they're getting rid of an even worse contract in the process...and the sixers don't need any more bad contracts.
let him whine for 2 more seasons...who cares/

two trades to the Knicks that work under the cap:

-- Francis and Jerome James
-- Crawford, Malik Rose and Jerome James

eh

Barf. The last one is the better of the two only because I want nothing to do with Stevie Franchise. He's a gold plated bum. At least Rose and James might be able to rebound once in awhile.

Igy,

I don't care that he asked to be traded. What I do care about is that he chose to whine about it to the media in his old city; he is getting 20 mil to play and he's whining...if the coach says sit, sit on your ass and collect that check and shut up. Or at least don't whine to the press...take it up with Mo and/or Billy.

Well you were certainly right about him.

But do they do what hunt said, force him to adapt to Mo's subbing patterns, or do they acquiesce and find someone to deal him to? I wold rather see them sit his ass because Billy would have to take on another big contract or he'll farg it up and make a poor trade. I don't trust him.

ice grillin you

you dont do anything with him...you let his ass play his 17-22 minutes a game and bitch about it...if and when it becomes a detriment to the team you suspend his ass and see how he likes getting zero minutes a game

sixers are not going anywhere and have absolutely nothing to lose in this situation except money which is gonna be paid regardless....let that punk rot

QuoteQ: So, one day last week I see Sixers GM Billy King in a restaurant in Philly. I started thinking "Does he deal with ordering food the same way he signs NBA players?" If he ordered the steak, if it's an OK steak but nothing fantastic, does he offer to pay double or triple the market value for it? Maybe there could be a show where Billy King negotiates car prices for people who stand by dumbfounded as he offers $27,000 for a 1987 Toyota Camry with 167,000 miles.

SG: I had a sarcastic follow-up joke here ... then I remembered that my favorite baseball team just spent $51.1 million for the right to negotiate a free agent contract for a Japanese pitcher who's represented by Scott Boras. I'll shut up now.

Oh, and the Sixers lost tonight.  AI and AI2 were a combined 11-for-32 from the field.  Korver only made 1-of-4 3-point attempts.  They're pretty good.

I'd be interested in seeing a shot chart to see exactly how many jumpers they took last night because they took too damn many of them. And that is not the first time they have stayed away from the paint too much this year. They played right into PHX's hands by trying to run with them and not slowing it down.

SunMo

last night is when i start to have a problem with AI, he was off but he kept on chucking up the shots
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

i only saw the first quarter but stoudamire is like 21 and makes everyone on the sixers look like a little girl.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

MDS

They lost again, this time to LAC in OT.  CWebb pussed out with a back injury, Shav started. Alan Henderson played 19 minutes. Iverson missed 150 shots. Kevin Ollie is a starer. They suck.
