MJG can't dress because there isn't a need to dress him. Justice was playing LT for the first time + being a rook so he gets time.

The OL is fine. Its the shtein ass defense thats a problem.

I can't imagine why anyone is even thinking about the offensive line right now. Talk about the least of this team's problems...

Maybe the Eagles will get very very lucky and land Calvin Johnson.   :drool

I agree with you about Patterson being a non-factor, though I think he could be a very good player if he had a beast next to him like Bunkley was supposed to be.

they really don't need any immediate help on offense, except another runningback.  if they had a coach who knew how to run a balanced offense, this offense would be very good with Donovan.

they need defense, defense, defense, defense, and defense.

Johnson is too good to pass up but I agree.  If Michael Bush delcares they need to take him.

Well, they could have traded up for Ngata...

Northern Eagle

I still think they need to draft a Strong Linebacker who can make open field tackles. Sure they can go back and continue to draft more and more DTs, but I think that with time, maybe the ones we have drafted will pan-out. Bunkley is still a rookie remember, and he has barely gotten any snaps latley, and Patterson is doing an OK job and he is still only 2 years in the league. Im just saying it's a little early to be considering them a bust at this point of their careers.(not that anyone actually said it though)

This is what I have been saying for five straight years. It will never happen. They even had a fat ass on the roster in the form of Keyonta Marshall who, by all accounts, practiced well and stuffed the run as well or better than any DT on the team. He rotted out on the practice squad for years and was never given a chance to play. These coaches need to be shot.

My Dad and I have discussed this for the last five years.  But as long as AR and JJ are here I it won't happen they like having undersized guys there.

exactly, JJ and AR like the "undersized and fast" defensive guys.  exactly the same philosophy as Dungy.  and Dungy's had the best offense in the league the past 3 years and what has that got him?  nothing.  so, let's follow my logic:  if the team with the best offense can't win anything and it's because their defense is holding them back, and you have the same defensive personnel philosophy as them, why would you expect to win anything when you don't even have the best offense in the league?

Woodley is a flat out beast. I would take him here in a friggin heartbeat.

The last thing we need though is to draft our entire group of saviors and have them be MIA during the season. We need to spend some $$ on free agent LBs for once. If not then expect much of the same in 2008. Lets see if Lurie and Banner will open their wallets.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
