One of the strongest positions on our team (DT) turned out to be one of the absolute biggest weaknesses. We drafted Bunkley and Ramsey and Patterson was another year into the system and Walker was healthy. We completely misjudged this DT rotation. Unless Bunkley turns into the stud he was projected to be back at the draft, then this DT rotation is one of the worst in football. Patterson is a solid DT, no more. He never will be a great DT, and with his lack of size you can expect him to get blown up a lot.

I didn't like the pick when the Eagles made it, but I'm still going to give him more time to develop. What I see right now is a decent but no more DT. He'll play good some games, okay in others and when he goes up against a punch you in the mouth line he'll get pushed around. Bunkley is way too good to become a bust. Unlike Patterson he actually has the size and to stand. But right now he isn't playing well. We can attribute that to many things, but if things don't change that will have been two wasted first round picks in 2 years.

We still got huge issues at DT folks, and it makes me sick that after 2 years of dedicating an offseason to fix it, it still isn't fixed. Reminds me of the farging QB situation before McNabb. Not time to panic yet, but right now at this moment it isn't good. Hopefully they go out and farging play.

And it's ridiculous that you believe Bunkley will be a better DT than will Patterson.

When you think of Bunkley, think of Wendell Bryant.

they are weak as hell and the way the eagles try to spin it is to have a rotation of two sets of guys to come in...in other words depth...except its not depth when all the guys cant play

ive had no problem with the o-line this year...in fact they have played quite well imo...be nice tho if the coach would let them run block every once in a while

watching some of the game over this morning tho i will say that john henderson was murdering the interior of the line....including andrews

That's what you get when you have them backpedaling 40-50 times a game.

If they were allowed to use all that girth and get physical with a d-line and power run block more than twice a game, I think you'd see better results.

Here's my problem. I can't even come up with a position that this team NEEDS improvement at that they are likely to draft. I guess I can see them taking a DE in the first but other than that what would position would they take? WR? No. RB? No. LB? In the first? Very unlikely. Safety? No.

So I guess this team is taking either another offensive lineman or a DE in the first round. How exciting.
