Any worthy TE's coming into the draft nxt year?

Why?

The Eagles should be spending every pick they have on defense.  The offense for the most part (including LJ) is straight.

Don Ho

I attended the Hawaii/Oregon State game this past Saturday and Oregon St. had two awesome TE's.  I just checked NFL Draft Countdown and low and behold one of them was rated as one of the top TE's:

Joe Newton 6-7 252

Guy made some great catches in traffic.  Hawaii kept double teaming the guy.

TE from Arizona St. is also highly rated.  ASU will be here for the Sheraton Bowl on xmas eve.  Still contemplating going to that game.  Last guy who was highly rated coming into the Sheraton Hawaii Bowl??????  UAB's one and only Roddy White.  What a great season he's having in Atlanta :yay
"Well where does Jack Lord live, or Don Ho?  That's got to be a nice neighborhood"  Jack Singer(Nicholas Cage) in Honeymoon in Vegas.

Newton is slow but is great in the red zone, plus he tore his knee so he might be an eagle in the early second round.   :yay

LJ is still under contract next year so I'm not going to sweat it yet. If the Eagles don't have anything done by October of 2007 then there probably is cause for concern.

LJ is up and down, but when push comes to shove I'd probably keep him around -- unless something really opens up and there is another TE option out there worth pursuing.

Yeah, the Eagles are totally about going out and getting expensive players on the downside of their careers.
