McCoy was a lateral move from Adams, and at BEST a minor minor upgrade. Howard was a huge upgrade at the start of the season, but with Kearse out, it is a downgrade from last season. Kearse and Cole>Howard and Cole.

No. McCoy may not be setting the world on fire and is a liability against the run, but he has 2 PD, 3 FF and like 5 TFL. That's 10 more plays than Adams had last year. Adams did nothing all year.

He has made more plays on paper than Adams, but him and Adams both share one bad thing in common. On run plays they get blown completely out of the play by the FB. Just go back and watch the Jags game all game and see how many times McCoy was just eaten up by the FB.

McCoy is good against screen passes and that is about it. He'll make some disruptive plays here and there, but he hurts the team on long drives because he gets blown up constantly.
