Hood coming back(hopefully 90%) makes a big difference this week.

GF, make a note that this needs to be added to the filter as soon as possible.   :-D

I found that just surviving was a noble fight.
I once believed in causes too,
I had my pointless point of view,

Good news.

Makes it tough on JAX. They'll probably leave Mathis singled up on a guy and then roll help to the other guy with a safety. If that happens LJ has to be the guy to step up.

Something like 52-6.

Eagles strap up loaded for bear.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

Leftwich is hurting. But if he plays he is immobile, even moreso now because of the bum ankle, and it takes him forever to wind up to throw a pass. There is no acceptable reason why the Eagles should not have at least 5 sacks on Sunday.

No way they lose to a struggling Jacksonville team who got killed by of all teams Houston. I'm not worried about giving up the big pass becasue Leftwich is hurting and the back-up has no chance. Only concern is the run game.

Fellas,  3 days ago we lost to a rookie named Gradkowski... a little too early to be shteintin' on Byron Leftwich and selling him short.

Gradkowski had little to do with it. We lost to a veteran called McNabb. :P

I'm selling him short by saying he's hurt and he has a long wind-up?

PoopyfaceMcGee

You're selling anyone short if you don't think this Eagles team is capable of letting them make plays when it counts.

PhillyPhreak54

Ah, yes. Sorry.

Jacksonville is going to kick the Eagles' asses. Leftwich is going to run around and make plays all day!

Just another case of the Black Man keeping whitey down......

Good.  I hate whitey anyway.  He's like, white and stuff.

Jacksonville should be quite fired up for this game though given the beating they just took at the hands of Houston so I don't really care who's out for them or how banged up Leftwich is.  That mofo lead his team to victory on a broken friggin leg in college so I know he's one tough sumbitch.

Obviously, Jax isn't looking nearly as dominant as they did against Pitt a few weeks ago so that does bode well for the Eagles but I simply can't lean one way or the other when it comes to knowing (or even thinking I know) if the Eagles are going to win this game or not.

On paper, there is no reason why they shouldn't.  But there's no reason they should have lost to the Giants or Bucs either......and quite possibly the Saints and yet they managed to steal defeat from the jaws of victory in all 3 games.

So this week, and probably for the rest of the season I am simply going to sit back, watch the game and consume unthinkable amounts of alcholol.

The BIGSTUD

Bottom line:

Jacksonville never had that great of an offense to begin with and their defense is just average now with like 4/5 of their best defenders banged up.

There is no reason the Eagles shouldn't win and convincingly on sunday. But with this team you never know. Someone will fumble the opening kickoff and the Jags will geta  TD go up 7-0 and suck the life out of us early. The Eagles will come out fired up though loaded for bearz.

Nah, I'm just saying that the guy's a good QB who's already had his share of success in this league... long wind-up and all.  He's not some scrub who can't really hurt us if we can't get to him and like Sun said... he's shown his toughness in many games before so I don't think his ankle would stop him from making a play if/when he has to.

And I think mussa is really undersetimating him by saying that we don't have to worry about the "big" pass, or any pas for that matter... especially when we've been inconsistent as hell at defending it.
