This is a stupid football team.

They drop passes, make ignorant decisions with the ball, take stupid penalties, play soft defense.

Until they learn how to play the game they will not do a goddamn thing.

How many times are they gonna fumble?

Unbelievable Phreak.  I have nearly no words.  No team has lined up and beat the Eagles this season without help.  I won't even count the fumbles or int's because those are part of the game, either you protect the ball or you don't, but the STUPID PENALTIES are the things that can be avoided and must be lest they cost you ball games.

As bad as they have looked at times in all three losses, they have played well enough to win all three and blew them all with stupid penalties.

It is getting like watching the Phillies at this point and that's not good.

They have taken TWO stupid penalties on defense the last two weeks. It's bad enough that this swiss cheese defense cannot stop a team, they do dumb things.

I almost hope that they lose the rest of their games so there is a reason to fire everybody. Honestly this was actually a good coaching performance but they didn't execute. I agree that McNabb played like a rookie at times today. The 2 interceptions on those out routes were horrible. At the same time he would have reached warrior status if they won that game. I am so unbelievably upset right now I am going to crush a bottle of Vodka.

What exactly did the coaches do wrong today? Reid comitted to the run and the defense was pretty good other than the last two drives.  But it seemed more like execution than anything to me.

I haven't read this whole thread, and probably won't until tomorrow, butthis team is 8-8 or MAYBE 9-7 at the end of the season.  You just can't give away games to what should be inferior teams and get to the playoffs.

The coaches didn't do anything wrong today......which is what I said.  The "what?" comment at the end was one of those "what?  did I really just say that?" kind of things.  I can't remember the last time the Eagles lost a game where there hasn't been some sort of major blunder by Reid for me to harp on.  He called a good game today.
