Every time I run or play basketball, I have 2 or 3 rounds of violent shteinting that start the second I stop running. Playing basketball for 2 hours turns into a 3.5 hour overall event for me. Thoughts?

From a clinical perspective, the recommendation would be to stop playing basketball.

So if a meal has 11g of total, 1.5g of saturated, and 0g of trans, am I correct in assuming the other 9.5g are polyunsaturated or monounsaturated? Which of the unsaturated fats are better? And why don't they put those quantities on the label?

Dillen

Yeah, the remaining would be 9.5 g. Both of the unsaturated fats are good. Mono lowers LDL, some say it increases HDL too. Polyunsaturateds increase heart health. Both supposedly lower the likelihood of heart attack, strokes, etc. Wouldn't say either of them are better than the other. Some labels include unsaturated on the label, most of the olive oils I've used have it. It's probably not required by the FDA to include it on the label.

I'm about to finish the Tabata bootcamp thing I've been doing. No doubt I'm in WAY better shape now than I was when I started, especially stamina-wise, but getting up at 5am 3-4 days a week has made me unbelievably irritable and my miserable attitude has been something less than refreshing as a result. Also my left knee definitely has some sort of career threatening injury as it farging hurts 24 hours a day.

So other than being unbearable to be around and the constant pain in my joints, it was a great experience. And yet for some reason I would totally do it again. What the farg? Vanity has rotted my brain. Anyway, back to normal sleep schedules and sporadic gym attendance next week, I suppose.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

I have this silicone bar thing - looks like a small deodorant stick. Let's just say chafing happens.

A buddy of mine used to run long distances, and he'd cover his nips with band-aids as a precautionary measure.

Yes, i learned the lesson the hard way two weeks ago when i ran for 5.5 miles.
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

It's called "Body Glide." It works really well. Costs about $10 but worth it and will last a while.

phattymatty

I have Astro Glide at home, might give that a whirl.

PoopyfaceMcGee

No joke, it might help a lot, especially on small runs. The problem is it probably will wear off much more quickly.

I ate tuna without mayo today.
