This team is an utter embarassment. No way they make the playoffs this year. Clarke needs to go.

Care to wager on that SD?

I wrote this in the offseason thread after I saw them get destroyed in a pre-season game:

I wouldn't be so down on them if they either had: A) A speedy defense capable of being effective in todays NHL or B) A good goalie.
For those two reasons alone, I can't see us finishing as anything other than a bottom seed or out of the playoffs altogether.

So yeah, I'll stick to my guns. Pick your poison, be it cash or something else. This team ain't making the playoffs.

I know we never finalized the bet but I'll understand if you want to concede, I can be merciful.

y'know, I wouldn't mind the Flyers bring back every fighter/physical player they ever had (kinda like in Slap Shot), just to resurge the crowd.
