Ok...no Kool Aid. How about he was "swinging on the Birds' nuts"?

On another note: Shefter also reported a new NFL rule change that allows QB's to use they're own game balls this season. Each team will provide game balls for their QB, and the balls will be "broken in," or "doctored up" the way each respective QB desires. This is said to have a great impact for the passing game, and Shefter expects QB's numbers league wide, to go up. No more brand new slick balls, less Picks, more Td's, etc. He claims the NFL is becoming more of a passing league, and the rule changes are in an attempt to see that through. Guess we got the right coach and the right system for that, eh?
