I figure that the Niners will be playing from behind, too.  That elevates the chance that Bryant will get a lot of looks.

Ward at the half: 1 recption, 7 yards, TD.

Chris Chambers is killing me.  :boom

My decision to bench Hines farging Ward is working out great.

I thought I could add Hall today as my kicker, but it didn't reflect... so I lose out on atleast 10 points, and consequently, I'm probably going to lose.

yeah you guys made the call for me last week with bryant and it worked out ok...so im leaning towards him again as of now...i traded plaxico for branch and bryant during my draft and mostly for branch so i feel like i need to play him to validate the trade

Okay. I want a trade. Frank Gore is being hyped as awesome after blowing up on the Cardinals, and Culpepper is still carrying some hype. There is a guy in my league who is decent at RB, Ahman Green, Willie Parker, and Steven Jackson, and borderline awful at QB, Vick, Delhomme, and Carr, and I am doing okay-wise in RBs, Kevin Jones, Frank Gore, Tiki Barber, and Chris Brown. My starting QBs are Culpepper and Tom Brady. I would like to try to swing a trade by giving away Gore and Culpepper and landing Jackson, and having a serious RB corps, and grabbing some QB off the waiver-wire. This seem like a long shot? Value?

EDIT*: He's loaded with decent WRs. We start 3 WRs, and you can start a TE in that place. I have decent starters, but drafted a couple of TEs (Cooley and Watson) and would like to add another WR in this trade. I saw Derrick Mason and figured I could try and get him in the trade as well, so Culpepper and Gore for Jackson and Mason.

so Culpepper and Gore for Jackson and Mason.

i would definitely do that

jackson is going to have a better year than larry johnson and is the sleeper of the league imo

and you have brady who is better than culpepper

basically youre trading frank gore for jackson and mason

no brainer

Submitted it, have to see what happens. I would be amazed if the dude accepted it, but he was pretty dull at the draft, and his QBs look like shtein.

I would be amazed if he accepted since Vick didn't look bad against Carolina.  I agree that Steven Jackson should do much better than Gore this year.

Trent Green getting hurt placed my team in a predicament as I only had Brett Favre as his backup to spot him during his bye, week 3. Now my QBs are Treent Green, Alex Smith, and Brad Johnson. Should I start Smith against the Rams or Johnson against the Panthers?

ice grillin you

id always start smith as he looks competant now his team has no defense and it stinks...meaning lots of throwing and high scoring games

That's pretty zesty. I would go with Alex Smith against the Rams. The Panthers are going to be looking to make a statement, but Morgan is sidelined...

I just think Alex Smith looked much more comfortable in the pocket last week then he ever did last year, and he has a lot more weapons this time around. It's the better matchup I think.

Who's on the waiver wire? If Kitna is there I would snatch him up, and maybe take a flier on Grossman.
