Branch is better than any of the WR's that were UFA's this year. He's better than Moulds and Lelie combined. He's 26 years old and has made big plays in big games.

Exactly. This is not just adding a band-aid until we can draft someone else in a year or two. This is a young stud of a WR who we can extend to a contract that would be a big step towards not having to worry about the WR's for the next 5 years.

We **offically** need to sign his ass.

he isnt going anywhere...the patriots (kill yourself if you call them the pats) want him to find out that he is overpricing himself by going out on the open market...and if by chance he finds the money he is looking for then the team has a real number they can touch and negotiate with...expect him to sign with new england by next wednesday

If the Pats are actually serious about trading him, and that isn't a sure thing yet. A lot of people think they are just doing it to show to him his value there is fair. Well if they are serious, this is a guy the Eagles would actually give up something of value for, and he's someone who is actually worth it. Superbowl MVP, sure-handed guy, good character guy, and he has speed. All things the Eagles look for in a player. They'd give up a 3rd for Branch, and possibly even a second, though I wouldn't bet on it. After all they were willing to give up a 2nd according to rumors for Walker.

But after saying all that. Chances of it happening? Slim. Just because it's too good to be true, and the Pats probably have no real intention of trading their franchise QB's favorite target. If they are though, the Eagles will probably make a strong push for him.
