yeah because davis is in such demand that he can just chill until the start of the regular season and then pick his spot

Exactly. I think he would have loved to participate in a camp if it would have meant he had a job.

would love to be in camp? the older vets hate camp. its grueling. they say it all the time. you think with Davis' bad knees, hes wants that every day and night?

my point is he knows someone would want him and he could skip camp. The guy just had 12TD's last year and teams look at that. then they look at if he can pass a physical

I personally dont want them to go that route, and I cant stand when they play this nickel and dime bulls*it before the start fo the season with a very important skill position--knowing damn well they need it every year. They need to suck it up, give up the draft pick and make the Denver trade.

hes not in camp right now because no one needs him...youre intimating he could be in a camp right now but is holding out because he doesnt like it...which isnt true...

the minute a team calls him is the minute he reports to camp

The Chargers do not need a backup RB. Turner is a good young backup. And Sproles is 3rd on the depth chart and can fill in if needed. So if anything they would need a 4th string RB. Good call.

i really dont know how to respond to this rumor. levens did fine when he came in for a limited role and he wasnt really wanted either other places. if he can come in for the dreaded 3rd and 1 and 3rd and 2 situations...even to serve a as a decoy i guess it could be worth it.
