randy white

Is that some urban street slang that you can flip meaning butternut johnson, or did you really mean Randy White?

I take it as him saying we know Patterson is good, but this guy is better than the good Patterson we know.

So you took a quote about the Eagles and spinned it in the most ridiculously positive way it could possibly be spun? Well, I'm shocked! SHOCKED, I say!

Ok.

Patterson sucks.

And since he isn't an all pro after his rookie year he sucks even more.

That guy is a huge question mark because he's too fargin short!

Spadaro addressed this today, ironically enough...

QuoteHe needs to be in football shape. Agreed. He missed a lot of time. You don't catch up on that quickly. This is why holding out is so stupid. As good as Bunkley looks and as well as he's playing, he would be so much better had he signed quickly.

kudos to spads there...gotta give it up to him

all in one comment he defended his own idiocy and still was able to describe an eagle player as one of the best on the planet

Obviously we'll never know.

If Bunkley reported on time, he might be starting now.  Then again, if he reported on time, he might have blown a knee out the first day of practice.

Make fun of Spadaro (or me) all you want.  Guys who report on time play better and produce more during their rookie seasons.  Empirically speaking, that's been documented.

The BIGSTUD

I agree with Phreak's take.

Everyone who has watched Patterson play knows he's been very good. He's just saying that Bunkley looks like he's going to be that much better.

patterson was never very good last year...and doesnt have the skill set to be a great player...hell be a solid workmanlike player for a long time...however playing next to bunkley...who is going to be the best DT in the nfl for the next ten years it doesnt really matter...
