19. Calvin Armstrong .... isn't horrible

:o

Phreak, you have an eye for the game, man. I watch a game or a practice and I can follow what the ball is doing, and maybe take note of a great tackle or block if it's in my field of vision. How you manage to see all that shtein I'll never know.

Susquehanna Birder

Good stuff, Phreak. I'm thinking about running up there with LSB on Sunday. Your report makes me want to head there for sure.

Phreak, may the gods smile upon thee.

And we pray! :evil

Phreak.. I just noticed that NO ONE has mentioned Kearse.  How's he looking?  Does Howard being there seem to help him out?  Is Runyan kicking his ass or what?

I haven't really focused much on him to be honest. He's still got his burst and he's getting pressure but I have been so interested in checking out the other DL than he's kind of like my 4th read to put it in QB terms ;D

On Tuesday he had a "sack". I will make sure to watch him for a good while on Saturday.

But Runyan has looked pretty good.

yo phreak how empty is empty

do the main bleachers not even fill up...or are you saying all the overflow of the last couple years is gone and its like 02 again

last couple years ive been getting there super early....i got a three hour drive up for saturdays early session and would like to leave as lat as possible....can you now walk in at 830-845 and get a good bleacher spot

Nah, the bleachers still fill. They added another set on the other side of field 1. And they have the sets on the other fields too. They all fill up for the most part. But its not jam packed where you feel like you cannot move because everyone is packed in there so close. The last 3 years it was a mob scene.

And in years past you would not be able to walk past the main bleachers because the lines at the fence of people trying to get a view would be 7-8 people deep. Its not like that anymore.

I got there at 0800 yesterday and thought I was farged because I was running late. But goeagles99 and daigglesfaninnc got there and had a seat saved. But there were still spots open to sit down.

But just to be safe I would try to be there at 0730ish.

Its pretty hard. I try to pick out one player that I will follow for a few plays in a row and then I will just watch a specific area of the field to see whats going on. I'll force myself to watch the OL-DL and ignore the QB and where the ball goes to see who is winning the battles and stuff like that. The key is getting a good spot or beingon the sidelines in front of where they do the live drills.

A small request for those going to camp.

I know it's easy to get caught up in the excitement of a new season, but if someone could focus on the things that DON'T look good that would be good.

Phreak's reports are awesome, and I'm glad that McDougle and Howard are doing well, but I want to know where the weaknesses and problems seem to be in addition to the team's strengths.

We seem get a lot of detail on the good stuff and a passing mention of player who aren't doing well or no mention at all. This shtein is just as important to those of us who can't go.

Thanks jerks.
