Check out anything by Meshuggah. They are far and away my favorite band and their drummer, Tomas Haake is a damn cyborg. There's clips of him giving clinics on there, some of which include his bassist Dick Lovgren.

Sorry, I had to plug them. They are my Brahman of music. It borders on unhealthy obsession...
