yea ill bet it does. nothing says strong like gratuitous nudity, dragons and dwarfs.

its a fine show if you like that fantasy world stuff but please do not put it in the mad men/breaking bad level....though to be fair tv peaked like 4 or 5 years ago so the top level for tv is like the top of the nfc east in the grand scheme of things.

There are no dwarves.  And yeah, it's not me.  It's universally critically acclaimed.  I don't care that you don't like the show.  3 years ago we had this conversation and you and igy both said you wouldn't like it before it aired which is fine.  What bothers me is stereotypical bullshtein levied against the show as it relates to the genre when GoT basically subverts every single fantasy trope there is.

yeah, midget.  when you say dwarf and talk about it being a typical fantasy show the assumption is your talking about dwarves and elves and shtein.  I don't expect everyone to like the show - it's a genre show, it's just more about medieval families fighting for power than it is typical fantasy magic, good versus evil etc.

yeah martin is from jersey and he's annoying as farg because he claims to like all new york teams so he roots for the jets and giants, and the yankees and mets.

There is literally nothing bad about the show...the acting, the scenery, the costumes, make up, cinematography, etc are all top notch. It's just a matter of whether you like the story or not. I think it's a damn good story so far.

Luckily for you, there's 8,000 seasons worth of content ready to be turned in to scripts because that motherfarger won't stop milking his cash cow until he's dead, at which point his kid and/or editor will start squeezing it dry.

The show is amazing and the storylines and what you mentioned above are what make it so. The gratuitous nude scenes are just the cherry on top. igy and mds would never be able to get past the 'nerd' stuff to appreciate the show.

Finally got around to watching the latest Walking Dead today.  Had a feeling the Governor would be showing up as soon as they got the virus taken care of. Lol @ Rick opting to pick peas with Carl instead of talking to Daryl about Carol.

you can watch your fantasy nerd show and enjoy it. im sure its great. have fun.
