Been watching this show called Bar Rescue. It's an awful reality show like Kitchen Nightmares where the host goes around saving bars but it's a great time waster.

new ep tonight in new orleans....just flipped over for a peek and taffer is going off on this young bartender for selling hot sorority girls to many shots....then he sees another bartender with a cut off shirt on and goes "what  ajerk this guy is"....ha

he reminds me of how gruden is on the the ffca....just so over the top retarded but i cant stop laughing

I watched that one yesterday. Holy hell what is wrong with people. Yeah I get dressing up like an idiot to feed yourself and making rent but they're like that all the time. The guy with the eye patch is the worst of the bunch. I googled them and I guess they're still open but no way that lasts. Their yelp reviews are bad:

Might be the worst place I have ever been too. Mistakenly walked into this sword shop after a meeting.  The staff and service was just awful, period.  I was told the drink to order was "The Grog". This was sugar and random booze.  I'm not even sure what flavor to describe it as.  It tasted like diabetes. Between the awkward seats, the tiresome "acts", the dust on everything, and the disgusting drink....... I will not return.

this is the place ive been to a few times...its a travesty...and the fact that they ripped out all the awesome shtein taffer put in there is beyond belief...if you want to go back to being pirates then do it...but why not keep the place nice like he made it

Yeah I read the reviews too after watching. Especially after I saw the dumb broad went back to the pirate theme. I could tell she was stupid based off the dude she married.

They're having a marathon and I read the reviews after each episode. Watching some bikini sports bar episode now.

I've been trying to decide whether or not I think Shane is a good dude.  Most of his actions said he was but he just has this ahole quality about him.  Seems exceptionally loyal to Rick (despite banging his wife like a week after they thought he was dead).  Then I got to ep 2 or 3 in season 2 last night when he shot Otis in the leg and left him to the Zombies so he could escape.  Dick.

The next couple episodes are slightly boring, but hte most interesting parts are you see the toll everything starts taking on Shane. Leads up to a great mid-season finale.


Just watched the new episode I missed on Sunday, really really really good. On par with the pilot. Probably my favorite of the series now

Jon Stewart will take a 12-week hiatus this summer to direct his first feature film, according to a report Tuesday in Deadline New York.

The report indicated that Stewart will use the time off to direct "Rosewater," which is based on the book Then They Came For Me: A Family's Story Of Love, Captivity And Survival.

Written by Maziar Bahari and Aimee Molloy, the 2011 book details Bahari's experience leaving London in 2009 to cover the Iranian presidential elections. In Stewart's absence, "The Daily Show" will be anchored by John Oliver, a veteran contributor to the Comedy Central program. Oliver will serve as guest host for "eight weeks of fresh shows," according to the report.

The report did not say when Stewart's hiatus will begin.
