Cutty from the Wire was cast to play Tyreese on the Walking Dead. Tyreese's character is pretty bad ass in the comics.

i started catching up on the last 4-5 episodes of walking dead because i fell behind and i'm diggin this season. i like how they're not afraid to kill off important characters because most of them sucked anyway.
