following seasons only do 13, too

i need to rewatch and count the UIL violations and other inaccuracies with the football. like the one that really is blatant is the size of the coaching staffs. on the show its like 5 dudes...in reality most 5A's have something like 10-20. some of those guys are jv or freshman coaches but they all work for varsity on fridays.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

SunMo

you realize that no one cares about the factual accuracy of a high school football drama, right?
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

SunMo

another blatant mistake is that they show the kids drinking from gatorade bottles, when in reality they have a 10 gallon jug with paper cups that everyone drinks out of

oh im well aware, i still love to to death even though so many things are wrong

but i mean does anyone want to sit around and watch a coach taylor fill out previous athletic participation forms and attend district executive committee meetings? or sort through candidates for the open volleyball coach position?

yea. no. its a tv show.

That's not a mistake, just product placement.  If Gatorade didn't pay for it, the players would be getting their drinks from unmarked jugs and using paper cups.

also only a complete idiot would watch the show and think it was accurate in that sense

but its not supposed to be.....remember the show isnt about texas high school football its centered around it

its basically a really really well made 90210....but instead of the beverly hills high social scene its built around dillon high football

the show should be centered around me having a threesome with mrs coach and julie taylor

The on field accuracy should be the most important thing though.  As long as they get that right, everything else shouldn't make a huge difference.

BigEd76

Do they make extra points too, or is it just the tri-state area that sucks at that?

Munson

The Walking Dead renewed for a 3rd season.

This past episode was one of those budget saving ones, not a lot of "Action". Next one should be zombie filled

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Not every episode is going to be zombie filled. One of the best part of the graphic novels actually gets away from the zombie threat for a little while.

Anyone else notice blue meth from Breaking Bad in Merle's drug stash?

Rome

I heard the Breaking Bad/Walking Dead crossover episodes are going to be epic.

Yeah I wasn't saying it was a bad thing. I thought in terms of script and acting it was one of the better episodes so far (though the scene with T-Dogg losing it at the RV seemed a little off), but I've found myself having to defend it to a lot of people that called it boring and such.

T-Dogg is a useless character who they're probably going to kill off. He offers nothing of interest to the storyline. He's not even in the graphic novel (neither is Daryl for that matter).
