its not gomez, its the guy who is above him,the white dude with the stache who was in that meeting with hank. if anyone at the dea is on gus' payroll its him.

as for gus knowing about the car bomb. first off hes gus. second off when jesse said that the kid was poisoned gus changed his demeanor from get your ass to work to take the week off, son. so he knew shtein was going down.

all i know is the finale is going to be off the chains. the two scenes, the one between walt and jesse and the car bomb thing were as suspenseful as anything ive ever seen. i dont think ive felt that way since lidge had 2 strikes on hinske in 08. god damnit this is a farging great show.

The old guy with the stache is too high up in the organization to be on the dea payroll. Gomez is Hank's boy so he can fill Gus in on what's going on at all times. Plus he's hispanic.

As far as Gus knowing about his car I don't think it had anything to do with that exchange, I think it has to do with Gus having his back watched at all times day and night. He probably doesn't think Jesse is involved, just Walt.
