Chopped is great.  "Here's a basket.  Make me an appetizer out of baby dolphin, Cap'n Crunch, this fruit with poisonous seeds and pork rinds.  Oh...and you have 20 minutes..."

The normal cooking shows are boring though.  ooo...can't wait to see what Paula Deen pours gravy on today!

What's not shocking is that Havas loves Food TeeVee.  What is shocking is that he seems to prefer the less flamboyant shows.

I don't watch cooking shows very often, but when I do, it's because I want to learn how to cook or prepare a specific meal.  I don't need to be "entertained" by crazy chefs throwing knives or doing all this other gimmicky crap and I'm not interested in watching people try to invent meals out of random ingredients.

Show me the ingredients, how to prep everything and then cook it.  That's what I want.

This is one of the few things where boring is defnitely better.

I'm watching Breaking Bad right now, just got done with the Pinkman/Mexican Lab scene.

"then you understand English...so you know what icehole means. Now make me my Phenylacetic acid icehole"

Legendary scene

I know I'm late on this but that episode was sooo good I have to comment. Immediatly after watching that scene, I rewinded it to watch it again. After that, the scene with Walt and his son was almost unwatchable. One of the best scenes I've ever watched on TV.

How cool is Gus? Didn't think it could get any better than the first scene, but the scene with the Cartel getting poisoned was a close second. Now Jessie has saved the life of not only Mike, but Gus as well. You can see what might happen next. Will Gus want Jessie to off Walt? Would he do it after the brawl they got into at Jessie's house? Seems after that Walt lost the only person that was on his side. He now seems to be a dead man walking. Does Jessie realize that even though he saved both Mike and Gus's lives that he is still only a pawn to them, an asset that will be eliminated when his usefullness has ran out? Maybe he does and will do the deed with the lucky cigarette.

On top of all that, I'm looking for the IRS to come a callin'.
