Walking Dead is on Hulu by the way. WIN. Watched it yesterday, pretty rad gore for cable.

Wasn't on hulu when I checked earlier this week.  Also wasn't on FIOS on Demand, so now I'm DVRing it.

SD

AMC has it on their website...or at least they did.

Munson

2nd episode was good, a lot of suspense.

***Small Spoilers***
My only problem once again lies with the zombie lore....ie the zombies using tools, climbing fences (though to be fair only one was able to figure out how to do so), covering yourself in guts and walking amongst them without them noticing, etc, all of which go against what I like to think is the most realistic look at zombies, and that's the Brooks books. But if I wasn't a zombie nerd this shtein wouldn't bother me, so I'm not going to let it ruin the show for me. Different zombie worlds will have different rules for the undead, and that's just the way it is.

Everything else about this episode was pretty awesome. Can't wait for next sunday already.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

I have no problem with the zombies using stones and stuff... it's not like they are shooting guns, like I saw them do in one zombie movie... I forget which one.

Can't believe they left that guy handcuffed to the roof.. I'm sure he's going to end up surviving.. and later... killing the black dude.

Can't believe the wife is already farging the friend after 2-3 weeks?

i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

Munson

I think it's been a little longer than 2-3 weeks, but either way, yeah it's pretty farged up. Makes you wonder when it started...after the zombies came, or while he was in the hospital for the gunshot, or maybe even before then.

Well... regardless... it hasn't been that long...  and she's already jumping the friends bones...

I wonder how the father and son are making out as well

The BIGSTUD

They were farging before the zombie stuff. It was obvious in the pilot episode when they were talking in the car.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

Wrong. In the graphic novel they started banging after the zombie stuff broke out. But they only banged once in the book. If this plays out like it does in the novel you're all in for some big surprises.

Tonights episode actually meshed some storylines together. In the original Rick meets up with the camp/his wife and kid, then goes back into town with Glenn to get weapons using the zombie insides to disquise themselves. A lot of the characters on the roof top (black dude, black chick, redneck guy, few others) aren't in the book.

No.. it really wasn't at all... he discussed martial problems.. and the buddy was talking about his random girl... that doesn't necessarily correlate to the buddy banging the wife...

The BIGSTUD

From what I read, the show doesn't follow the books all that closely. So you can't really use the books as a reference. This was from critics who've seen a lot or all of the show already.

MDS

another awesome episode.

this show is a lot of fun, and im pretty much the last guy on earth who gets into zombie stuff
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

There's been some great character development thus far... AMC really nails their tv series... minus that prisoner crap.

MDS

that was a standalone miniseries that was a clear misfire

rubicon was insanely boring

but as of now mad men, breaking bad and the walking dead are all top 10 shows...they are like 3/4 with 3 homers a routine groundout (rubicon) and a walk (prisoner...free pass since its a miniseries)
