Glee is a great show and Jane Lynch's character is one of the funniest in a long time.

deep breath here

and

admit its super gay and no straight man could possibly like it
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

i just watched louie and it's definitely not as funny as it should be.  not sure how many episodes they've had so far but to have louie, ricky gervais, and todd barry in the same show, i should have been crying. although the ricky gervais part was pretty good. also, i was at the show at caroline's over the summer when all of the standup parts were taped.  so maybe it wasb't as funny because i've hear it all before, but still i expect more from the man.

this coming from the guy that found lucky louie funny

I watch it. It's a rare show that both my wife and I can watch together. Certainly not the most testosterone-driven show, but if you know what you're getting into, it isn't bad. Dudes that hate it out-of-hand are overcompensating for something.

Usually the overcompensating for the inability to scratch ones own balls freely.

I agree. It makes me laugh. I'll also admit that there are times when it is way too, um, non-hetero for even my enlightened ass and I get a little uncomfortable, but overall I find it enjoyable enough to sit through which is a rare thing for a tv show.

i just cant stand showtunes or any singing in general, a show dedicated about that makes me hope it burns in hell

My moms has three degrees and one of them is in music so I spent a lot of time in theaters as a kid. It was never really my thing, but showtunes definitely don't bother me the way they do a lot of dudes.

I've always hated them, dont know why.  I get pissed watching Family Guy when they have them.  Just not my cup of tea i guess.

i don't like musicals because i like movies grounded in reality, or some form of reality...and when a cast breaks out into song it just isn't the most realistic thing ever
