it looks like it's a good show, and well done, but i just can't get into it when i try to watch it.

The first episode is available at bestbuy,  supposedly it starts right where last season left off.  Sunmo if you like history its good, if you like nudity its better, if you like HBO its another great show.

it looks like it's a good show, and well done, but i just can't get into it when i try to watch it.

maybe because its about people from 4000 years ago who were all homosexuals and whos biggest claim to fame was that they invented incest
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

The first half of the season was weak, but Rome got much much better the last few episodes.  Hopefully that carries over.

Rome's first 3 episodes are kind of boring, but it progressively gets better as the season goes along. Most people give up on a series after the first 2 episodes. To Rome's credit, they set up the story.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

well, i watched the one tonight where Pullo has to fight as punishment for murder.  this show now rules.

It would've been even better if you got more attached to him as a character because he is one of the best characters in TV history. Amazing scene.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

i kinda knew his deal from watching bits and pieces of the show, and that episode was very good overall, but it definintely got me locked to watch the repeat of the season 1 finale and this new season's first episode.
