you think two was the worst? the first couple episodes of season 2 were a little disappointing at first, but when you look back you really needed them since they were all new characters from season 1.  but as the season went along, it may have surpassed the first a little bit.  but it's really too hard for me to pick.  both 1 and 2 are the best seasons of any show i've ever seen.

for me i thought season 3 fell off a little bit.  i think it's because they focused a little too much on the politicos like carcetti and the rest, and got away from the meat of the show. 

both of you saying season 4 has been the best so far makes me want to get digital cable just for on demand.  it won't be out on DVD for a while.

All are pretty close to each other so it is hard to even rank them in order. It definitely is one of the best dramas ever made if not the best.

four is def the best and three the worst imo

i suppose you can flip flop one and two if you like...but chris bauer as sobotka is absolutely brilliant and elevates season 2 slightly ahead of one

The actor that played Stringer Bell did a great job, but the character himself I couldn't stand. He was backstabbing, and conniving. Omar is my favorite character easily and I loved that he got revenge.

Idris Elba was the tits. Stringer was what you explained, that was the point. This wasn't a good person. But you still felt bad for him, knowing that he was a product of his enviornment, that he had talent and skills that were going to the wrong area.

Omar is the anti-hero, a modern day Robin Hood. He is perfectly used. Simon refuses to make a centerpiece of the show, or even a steady character. He comes and goes, maybe in half the episodes in a season, and playing a major role in 1 or 2 of them. They were gonna kill him in season 1, but just couldn't part ways with Omar. Michael K. Williams should get a supporting actor nod, but come on, the refs hate The Wire.

Out of all the characters on the show, who do you think is best acted? I think the guy who does Bubbles does almost a perfect job of that type of guy.

This one is for MDS because he seems like the only one who would care, but a a day or so ago the first 4 episodes of 24 season 6 leaked to torrents. You might already know though. I downloaded them, but not sure if I should watch them yet.
