The BIGSTUD

That fire part was so lame. It felt so forced. They just throw drama in there to create drama. It isn't focusing in on the main part of the story that matters.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

I can't stand Jericho. I don't get what is to like about it. It has an okay mystery with all the explosions, but the acting is terrible, it is incredibly cliched, and the dialogue is awful.

Why did you watch it again?

Because it's bad, but not that bad... it's almost bad in a good kind of way.  I like it, but it sucks. [/Bunkley78]

I was eating dinner and was watching something until Lost came on.

Jericho is Lost Jr. Pefect prelude to it. I loved the pilot, thought it was one of the best of the season. The following episodes have been letdowns in terms of quality, but I'm still hooked on the story. Fun show to watch, overall.

Phreak I thought the dude looked more like Eli than Peyton. He'll probably die later in the season, considering he's a Manning and all...
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

The BIGSTUD

Jericho is exactly like Lost you are right. I was thinking that in the second episode. It pretty much has a big mystery that they are dragging out. Instead of using flashbacks, Jericho just crams in meaningless drama like fires to save children and imploding caves. That and Lost has much better acting than Jericho. Also Jericho had to thrown in the love affair angle that every single god damn show has now.

Not a big fan of it at all, but I'll watch it if I don't have anything else to do and nothing else is on TV.

Also this season of Lost has been a huge letdown for me. Not diggin this season so far at all. Maybe after watching The Wire everything else is miniscule in comparison.

That IRS broad looks familiar too.

Very good episode tonight indeed. I'm dying to know what Hawkins is up to. I saw that he was looking up Jake's info and that Jake's passport was flagged.

Now I assume it is because Jake was in prison. I thought that from the first episode when he would never give anyone a staright answer as to why he was in SD.

I'm hooked. Can't wait for next week.

I am checking out a TV show MB and now I'm not so sure about Jake being arrested. Someone there caught the stuff on Hawkins' screen about Jake's past.

QuoteHere are the nations Jake visited: Honduras 8/11/03-8/21/03
Mexico 9/22/03-10/2/03
Colombia 4/22/04-4/29/04
Venezuela 5/18/04-6/3/04
Qatar 7/13/04-7/25/04
Colombia 8/11/04-8/21/04
Peru 10/1/04-10/9/04
Guatemala 11/5/04-12/2/04

So maybe he's a government agent? He got close to telling his Pops why he was gone all that time but never got into it. We haven't had an explanation yet. Maybe he's a drug mule and Hawkins having gov't connections knows it? DEA agent?

And what about the missiles being fired off at the end? I think Hawkins and his little laptop/satellite setup had something to do with that. He accessed the system and then the site showed something in Russian or some kind of cryptic language. Anyone think he might have fired those missiles ir at least had something to do with it?

The morse code at the beginning of the show tonight was "Jericho CIA".

PhillyPhreak54

A few other clues on Hawkins;

He has a black AMEX card. That is the centurion card where it has a $250K limit. Obviously from a gov't agency.

The IP address that he types in was 29.203.39.1

That is a DoD (Dep't of Defense) IP addy and its real.

Father Demon

Weeds still is a good show.

And I'm liking Dexter on right after it.  That's some farged up shtein right there...
The drawback to marital longevity is your wife always knows when you're really interested in her and when you're just trying to bury it.

I prefer the term African-American Express.
