"If you have sex with a prostitute against her will, is that considered rape or shoplifting?" -- 2 Live Stews

Father Demon

Just finished Season 1 of Weeds...   decent show, but it makes me angry that Mom thinks she is doingall this for the kids and all she is really doing os farging them up more by her lackof attention.

Anyway, I'll watch Season 2.

I've got to see Always Sunny....    haven't seen an episode yet.
The drawback to marital longevity is your wife always knows when you're really interested in her and when you're just trying to bury it.

Diomedes

Just watched "Charlie wants an Abortion,"  "Underage Drinking: A National Concern"  and "Charlie has cancer." Great show.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Seen some pilots that haven't aired yet this week:

This Knights of Prosperity- If the pilot is as good as the rest of the series, we have something on par with Scrubs and The Office. Most likely, it will dip down a level to eqaute better with My Name is Earl. But, it was still very funny and very enjoyable. Donal Louge was great.  :cfhead :cfhead :cfhead

Friday Night Lights- Pretty down the middle on this one. Some good parts, some bad. It was not exactly like the movie (different player gets injured, characters are not the same), but obviously still had the same feel. Football scenes are okay, but the last play of the first game, in fact the last 2 minutes, were pretty rediculous. Not to mention, Kyle Chandler sucked balls as the lead. I know they couldn't get Billy Bob Thorton, but they could have gotten someone better.  :cfhead :cfhead

Kidnapped- In lew of 24, Prison Break and Lost, we have another serialized thriller. This one had it's moments of suspense and interest, but didn't stack up the other series at all. No real twists in the pilot, but I assume there will be some later on. Also, it's revealed that the kid who is kidnapped has been practicing holding his breath in order to break the world record. No doubt, that will come into play at some point. Also, Bubba from Forrest Gump was in it for the beginning then wasn't seen again. WTF is that? It's Bubba.  :cfhead :cfhead

Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip- Pretty tough to live up to all the hype, but they did, and it was great. Everything worked. The writing was spot on, hilarious, truthful, witty and compelling. The performences were great across the board, especially from Steven Weber (yes, him) and Bradley Whitford. Matthew Perry and Amanda Peet wouldn't do this show without gettin paid big time, but they were worth it. Can't wait to see more of this show. Hope it sticks.  :cfhead :cfhead :cfhead :cfhead

Jew boy with inside Hollywood info.  What are the odds?

MDS

Yea, no. Not yet. I downloaded them. I wish I got sent pilots. That would be awsome.
