I got just as far and I agree 100%. it's slow developing, weak storyline that they are dragging on, yeah we get it, you're a rich kid who disappeared after a plane crash for 15yrs and now you're back.

Hell, that sounds like the stupid Arrow show my son subjects me to from time to time. 

pretty much, but arrow has an excuse for being a weak cornball show, its on the CW. I figured with this being on Netflix, and how the other three defender series went, that iron fist may actually be ok. although I never liked the character in the comics anyway so whatever.

im not sure I even care enough to finish the series. does rosario dawson make an appearance in this one too ? it may be worth watching if so.

Is Danny Rand as awful in GoT as he is in Fist?

GoT is universally praised, Iron Fist has been getting ripped by fans and critics, so I gotta imagine that he doesn't suck on GoT.

I've never seen a show that's essentially a fighting/martial arts show have all of their fight scenes done in dark and/or confined spaces as much as I have with Fist.  They've really gone out of their way to mask the fact that they cast people who can't pretend fight and it's still so blatantly obvious.

for the record, Rosario saved the series with one bend over in the dojo.

He is a relatively minor character in GoT.  He's fine.  He's a gay guy who can fight in GoT.

The choreography seems pretty legit to me. At least with Rand. I'm somewhat familiar with internal styles, and I think he does a decent job of selling it. Of course, there is a bit of Hollywood flourish thrown in, but I've seem much, much worse.
