i liked the last scene with the cat....but other than that it just seemed....blah

i understand what they were trying to go for, but you cant make a point as the framework for the show. and then a mistrial? and then and only then does the DA decide to go after someone other than naz? ugh.

Ha yeah when he asked for help, I said "WAIT WHAT DOES HE MEAN? out loud, then when I saw her buying the drugs I almost turned it off.

Overall it had a few moments but pretty disappointing.

Overall it had a few moments but pretty disappointing.

It was the way the whole thing was phrased which bothered me most.   It was setup as "if I do this thing for you" with the "thing" being trying to not be convicted for murder.   So strange.  If you don't get me the drugs, I won't try to be found innocent!  Powerful bargaining tool.

Regardless of opinion, Turturo was outstanding. His character kept me in it the whole time. His was the most real. I liked the detective too. Not sure how Turturo doesn't win some kind of acting recognition or trophy for his role.

No it is still pretty good. The scene they're talking about was clunky. I knew what he was asking for because he had his hooks into her and they'd lost their dope connection the previous ep when Freddie shanked ol boy

Agreed on Turturro. I know Gandolfini was supposed to play that role but I think Turturro did it better than he would have

yeah Ill probably still watch it, its just that the reviews seemed to get worse as the series moved along.

oh well, season 2 of narcos becomes available Friday.

i thought the writing particularly outside of rikers was excellent on the show and the individual characters were for the most part really good but the sum of those parts did not add up to make an overall good show....the rikers stuff was unwatchable and the whodunit aspect of it has some serious problems as well

overall its a completely forgettable show....its probably about as good as the killing was...if you saw s1 of that and are glad you watched it then try this...but i dont see why you would...really watch show me a hero instead which was much better imo and a true story...also if you think tuturro was good in night of and i thought he was very good check oscar issac....he absolutely blows turturro away in show me a hero...one of the best performances ive ever seen on tv

That seems fairly accurate to me ... I don't regret watching it and I was entertained while watching...I just thought they made some really dumb decisions that were entirely avoidable.
