d'onofrio is who makes the show. he plays wilson fisk very well.

I think I'm the only person in the world that doesn't like him in that role, but I also thought Michael Clarke Duncan was the only decent thing about the awful movie.

d'onofrio to me puts forth a very disturbed, insane fisk. so far it works. duncan was pretty good as kingpin as well, just came across as a straight ganster that was about business. i agree that besides garner's cleavage, duncan's performance was a rare bright spot in that POS movie.

1st season was pretty good all in all....it got mad overhyped and got caught up in a pop culture rocket but maconohay (and woody) were tremendous, as was the direction from farginaga (missing badly this series) and the amazing pair of tits on whats her face.

so looking forward to mr robot tonight, easily my #2 show behind GOT. [spoiler]stoked to see how elliot handles what fernando did to shayla. that whole sequence of events leading up to the final scene last week was great tv[/spoiler]. def

The first season of TD was very good. I feel people are now going overboard with the revisionist history because of how zesty the second season is. Season 1 only had two characters who really mattered, but that's probably about right for an 8-episode show which was basically a miniseries. It was better on average than GoT (which I like a lot), but not at the Sopranos/Deadwood/Wire level. Good enough that everyone should watch it though, certainly. And it was fun.

fargo was 10 episodes but it had 4 characters you were very invested in and a ton of terrific side characters that could destroy scenes.

but then again fargo was amazing and TD was not (but it wasnt bad!)

first season of TD was good...nothing more...but it was incredibly overrated

i said this before i ever saw season 2...season 2 has no bearing on season 1 to me because from the minute the cast of season two was announced it was obvious it would suck...so ive never compared the two in that way

ive been watching scream on mtv and im not exaggerating when i say its way better than tds2

cant wait for mr robot tonight. the show has me hooked like few ever do. I mean it's on USA and I still need to watch it live and don't care about dealing with the commercials.

Seconded.  Best show I've seen in years.  What it's doing on USA is anyone's guess.  Belongs on AMC.
