The Beirut episode was great.  NR is all-time great whereas his new show is barely tolerable.  Just feel like telling him to can the weepy politics bullshtein and show us the cool out of the way places to eat from Thailand to Jersey.

yep, beirut, thats it. both episodes were really good. may need to re-watch the series on netflix.

Based on the recommendations I saw here, I gave Mr. Robot a shot, even though it's not the typical genre, I'm frigging loving it so far.

The protagonist's social anxiety and drug abuse issues make me feel like he should be posting here.

finally got hbo-go working on my tablet so i watched the first 20-30 minutes of the first ep of the wire on lunch today.  i'll probably get thru 2-3 eps per week...so in a few months, i'll let you know if this show was any good.

you wont get the full effect watching it on a lunch break like that...you need to be in a basement with the lights out a phat big screen and a few lit candles....then you need to watch each episode twice uninterrupted before watching the next one

at least this is how id do it if i had a second chance at a first viewing

cool to see father gabriel & agent broyles though. i'll stick with it.

It seems to me that several of you are expending a fair amount of time and effort on a television show that you profess to hate.

Isn't rooting for Philadelphia sports enough torture?
