so episode 2 of true dic was pretty bad

vince vaughn is just embarrassingly miscast. its really sad to watch. he cant do it. its like watching steph curry try to play hockey.

so if colin farrell is dead, they just killed their only interesting character. if hes alive, they just either went to trolling levels (beanbags, not bullets) or cartoonish levels (he somehow survived that). either way, this is just plain old bad. but im gonna keep hate watching.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Perfect description: Hate watching.

I'm waiting for this show to take off every minute I watch, but I know it's never going to exceed my expectations. I'm holding out hope, so I continue watching.

VV gets into an intense fight tonight and all I can think of is "tell that to the Dalai Lama, jackass".

True dick 2 tonight. Probably the best episode, finally getting its legs, albeit small.

This show is missing that weird, mysterious, chord to it. Season 1 had you thinking and guessing, and it was a little freaky. Season two is slow and a little painful to watch at times. I'm still hoping the producers knew that and that the show will finish with a bang to make up for my time lost. No pun intended.

I thought it was the worst of the three episodes so far - feels very disjointed. I will keep with it but I am disappointed overall.

rjs246

Last night's episode sucked. WTF with this casting.

I feel like you could just watch the last episode of the season and basically miss nothing....the casting was abominable from the minute it was announced so the horrible acting is exactly what I expected however I was at least hoping from a plot perspective that the whodunit/mystery aspect of the show would keep me interested....but that part of it is boring as shtein

Rome

I binge watched the first series and it was pretty good.  Colin Farrell & Vince Vaughn, though?  Why would anyone bother?  That might be the worst pairing since beer & wine.

Dillen

I didn't watch yet - did those shotguns make Farrell dead? Don't care about spoilers lolz

Much like season 1, this season is fantastically shot. That's what keeps me watching and that's all. It's easy on the eyes.

Other than that, it's been a mess. RMcA and Ferrell can act a little, but not enough to carry you through this mess of a story. VV is actually painful to watch. Actively inflicting pain on the viewers.

There was a scene in one of the first two episodes that really drove home the giant disconnect between last season's writing/acting and this season's. Ferrell does something violent that he knows is wrong. His reaction to it is to look dead-eyed and slack-jawed. Contrast that with last season. Harrelson beats the piss out of two boys for having sex with his daughter. He too know that he did something wrong and his reaction to that knowledge after the fact is just as violent as the beating he laid on the kids. The writing, the acting, the casting, the setting, everything about this season is a shadow of what they created last year.

And no, Dillen, he isn't dead.

Is the Brink somehow not as bad as TD?  I've been slightly entertained in a Veep way.

Humans is pretty cool so far.  I want a robot

it wasnt even a trick cause no one thought he was dead....but at least it wasnt the ultimate cliche of wearing the bullet proof vest....rubber bullets is a different way of doing the same thing....its a miniscule saving grace but overall the whole thing was pathetic
