murder directly on the ep/juarez border, usa cop and mexico cop work together to solve it.

fx's batting average is as good as hbo's. its most certainly worth a look.

Directv's on demand sucks. My son is broke going to college and can't afford cable or satellite, so he wanted me to sign up for Netflix's video streaming. I was going to catch up on last seasons Game of Thrones, but oh no, it's not available. Matter of fact, nothing I have searched for is available. WTF?

its called HBO GO.  If you have it, then you can use your dtv account to watch any HBO show ever made.

its not amazingly funny but i like it as a show. i like how they arent backing down from selena being essentially sarah palin and a total utter trainwreck of a vp

Finished up Season 1 of Falling Skies yesterday.  It's definitely got some strong parallels to TWD, but at the same time, it's very different.  I like it but it's no where near as entertaining as TWD, imo.  Here's the actual difference between the 2 shows though...

After watching Falling Skies, I go to bed. 

After watching TWD, I examine the house and property for strengths and weaknesses for an hour or 2.  Then I go to bed. 

In somewhat related news, I've seen this meme floating around facebook for the last few days.  I'm sure it's been out there longer than that, but whatever.   



Yeah, um....aside from the fact that their real names are different, the dude who plays Glenn was like 6mo old when Temple of Doom hit theaters.  Dummies.

my tivo tapes pretty much anything weed related because it's smart and knows me and last night it recorded some new show on CNN called Inside Man. basically a documentary type show by Morgan Spurlock. last night's was about medical marijuana. really well done.

evidently that season was weiner treading water until he got to next year, which is the last one, where he was some big story planned

i thought it was pretty good overall. some things like the don/sylvia affair could have been shorter but overall id say it was a B+ season
