I pretty much walked into this show like I did The Walking Dead. I also started on Season 2 and had to watch season 1 to catch up on the story. I'll have to the same for this game of thrones as well.

i watched last nights episode this afternoon...i don't love this season. i don't know anything about the books but i feel like they're cramming way too many characters into this season so far...there's like ten idiots all trying to be king yet somehow nothing has happened yet this year.

so far it's like the first 20 rounds of a game of risk where everyone jockeys for position but no one attacks. and why is there so little of the hot dragon lady?

but yeah the midget is good.

Lol mds has the worst taste in everything. If you like Veep because of your confusing comparison to British humor, go watch Life is Short. It's actually funny as opposed to that awful shtein.

EVeryone I know who's read the books is really excited about how the rest of the season is going to play out. Basically saying everything so far is settting up for a shteinstorm for the rest of the season + whatever happens in the 3rd book

the first half of most of the books are slower than the second half. the second book is particularly tricky because there are tons of new characters in the fold and new locations in addition to setting up the plot for the returning characters. you don't run into that so much in book 3.

i'm looking forward to the second half of the season and how it unfolds into the 3rd. they said they actually were able to fit a big battle into their budget (not Braveheart style, but not skipping over the battle either) so i'm interested in seeing if that's true.

Yeah the last few battles have been oh here's the battle about to begin and here's the aftermath....so it'd be nice to see at least one.

Robb Stark has quickly climbed my list of favorite characters with his apparent badassery on the field of battle. Really hope Pyke being bitches doesn't screw it up for him/The North.

They're also still calling it the battle between 4 kings, so I'm wondering who the 5th king is gonna be....I guess it could be this king beyond the wall we've heard allusions to.

Joffrey/Robb/Renly/Stannis/Balon Greyjoy are the 5.

Mance Rayder (King beyond the wall) calls himself a king as well, but the actual "war of 5 kings" refers to the above mentioned 5.

Ah Okay. Someone said 4 kings last night during the episode so I guess they just don't realize the Iron Islands are in it yet. Seems like we'll be seeing them get into it next week though from the previews.

Wonder how Bran is gonna handle it haha.

Granted she's weird hot. She does this stupid thing with her lips in every picture I noticed...so instead of ninjas, maybe it should be samurais. Instead of bukkake, it should be head chop-choppy!

In twenty years, she's going to look odd...and in 40 years, she's going to look completely butthole. She better marry young.
