The second half of the season is making up for the first half which was too much useless drama. Didn't see them killing Dale off that quickly...in the graphic novel he's the one who hooks up with Andrea and doesn't die until long after this point.

The first half of the season definitely dragged on a bit, but I thought the payoff at the break was worth it. I was convinced I didn't really care what happened to the girl much like a lot of others, and then it happened and I was like "oh....shtein"


As for Dale....Part of it might be that Jeffery DeMunn (Dale) is buddies with Darabont who isn't the controlling party of the show anymore....which kind of sucks. He's still a part of the show from what I understand, just not the creative director or whatever.

There was an article about how he wanted to start of the 2nd season with a flashback episode completely unrelated to the current group about a platoon of soldiers in Atlanta during the outbreak. And he said maybe you'd see Glen or Andrea or someone in the panic, but that the main focus was going to be on the soldiers and it would end with the soldier dying in the tank and then turning just as Rick crawls into it from the street like we saw in the season opener.

Basically, AMC made a mistake farging up that relationship.

ugh, the inner workings behind a show about zombies. pass.

for some reason i'm still watching this show, even though i hated the majority of the first season. but yes it has become much less zesty lately. i assume they actually listened to the audience and realized no one wants to watch a zombie show that is about a bunch of pansies talking about feelings.

i've never wanted a small child to die as much as karl. i'm seriously rooting for him to get gutted every time he's on screen.

after the mid-season finale i deleted it from my dvr schedule and haven't come back.  farg that show, it's a farging cock tease.

lol....matty is spot on...that little kid is easily one of the most hatable characters ever...and he might not even be the most hatable character on the show...the acting is an abomination....whoever cast the show should never have a job in hollywood again

the show has what...a dozen regular characters and there isnt a single one who you would care at all if they died...and theres probably seven or eight of them where you are actively rooting for their death

My hated in order:

1. carl or karl (not sure if he's a communist or not). I almost hate him as much as anyone on screen EVER!
2. The blonde chick that thinks she's the female version of Shane.
3. Rick's wife
4. The hostage
5. The short haired mom who never bothered looking for her daughter.
6. Dale

The show should just be Glen, Rick, Shane, the country dude, and glen's chick so they can bang her when they need some with a walker getting some now and then.

yeah i honestly wouldn't care if every single person in the group died and the show just moved on to a different family every episode. the acting has always been bad but may possibly be getting worse. the only reason i still watch is because i haven't bothered to take it off dvr and will watch it in the mornings before work. but that kid, god damn he is awful in every way possible.

all of the hatred aside, the last few episodes have been the best mini run since it started. still sucks though.

This is also when they reveal to us that the field where Shane complicatedly lured Grimes was, like, 10 feet away from the farmhouse the whole time!!

i laughed out loud at this scene. and then farging carl shows up again.
