I read a spoiler regarding next weeks Walking Dead episode. Really wish I hadn't.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

I'm on record... I think Edward James Olmos' character is a figment of Colin Hanks' character's imagination.

SPOILER ALERT IF YOU HAVEN'T WATCHED LAST NIGHT'S DEXTER

BOOM! I was right. Then again, it became PAINFULLY obvious over the last few episodes until last night's reveal. The hilarious part was the bit after the episode where the writers and producers talk about the great pains they took to keep it a secret. It became so obvious that it would have been a huge twist if he were a real live dude.

yeah, the twist itself was bad, but the writers patting themselves on the back about it was even worse.

Basically, because Colin Hanks is a mediocre actor, they had to lie to him about something every casual viewer already knew in order for him to be able to act it well.

I still farging love the show, but I expect better.

SunMo

i would think it would be harder for olmos to act with that knowledge than hanks.  hanks just has to act with the person in front of him because according to the story he thinks he's really there.

either way, they show has been shtein since lithgow and trinity
