Ignore list.

Wait.. What??  We have an ignore list now?

Found it.  This is the greatest thing ever.  Good bye to the most descriptive shteinhead on the board.
The drawback to marital longevity is your wife always knows when you're really interested in her and when you're just trying to bury it.

even though we need posters to post here, i can't help but feel the board was better when you were gone

Wait! I thought everyone hated me.

I've never heard anyone called "the most descriptive shteinhead" of anything.

What does that mean?  Try not to be too descriptive when answering.

Descriptive.

I have no idea who Demon is talking about but I'm seriously disappointed that SunMo is shooing him away. What happened to my good old sunny?
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

******SPOILERS*********

I figured they'd have to abandon the CDC, but I did not think it would be "shown" until the start of next season..,.certainly didn't think they'd blow the place up. A global virus and the CDC gets the total and complete axe in season 1? That can't be a good sign for the survival of humans. The obvious "cliffhanger" is whatever it is the Doc whispered in Rick's ear...couldn't really get a read from his face what it was supposed to be (good, bad, surprising, etc)

Overall, I think everyone expected more zombie action. It's been said time and again and now I think it's been proven that ultimately the show is more about the survival of the humans, not the killing of massive amounts of zombies. I'm a sucker for zombie-apoc stories so I love it whether it has zombie killing or not. I highly enjoy the "explanations" and all of that more than I do the "action". Anyone who was in it for the action is probably disappointed, but I'm diggin in. The dialogue needs to improve next season to avoid some cheesy moments, but overall a solid show and one that will have me watching every week. Which is the first time I've ever done that with a TV show.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

SD

I thought the Walking Dead finale sucked and the acting has gone from decent, to bad, to pathetic. The CGI of the 'explosion' was one of the worst things I've ever seen...it's like they didn't even try.

That being said I'll tune in next season. The graphic novel is a million times better.

Munson

Weren't there complains about the CGI in some of Breaking Bad's explosions too?

I have a feeling the popularity of the show will get it better funding next season...which will hopefully lead to better CGI.

I can get past the poor CGI, I was just pointing it out to emphasis that the finale was all around bad. Seriously, reading the graphic novel will make you dislike the show even more.

Munson

If what I've heard is correct, doesn't the wife bite it early on in the graphic novel?

I'm sure it's much better than the show, which is the case for a lot of literature. This season seemed to be all about setting up story arch's without actually resolving many, if any of them. Which is incredibly frustrating/kind of annoying. Hopefully they can build on it better next season, and with better dialogue.

no one is reading the graphic novel, geek

its a zombie show. it should be taken as seriously as canadian football
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

SunMo

Boardwalk Empire finale was very good.  I don't get the montage at the end though, especially the part with Nucky's assistant putting all that money on the table with the guy who lost all his money to Ponzi
