The head writer wrote 2/6 epsiodes, and co-wrote the rest along with the creators of the comic, etc.  The staff under him had minimal input, so he's going with more freelancing. 

Excellent job though.. if you don't like a show don't watch it... you are as annoying as the people who bitch about NBA fans in an NBA thread.

The dialogue wasn't the best, but now that the little sister is dead, the acting is pretty good now.

If the dialogue improves that'd be good, but freelancing is a bad idea. Hire a permanent staff of writers.
