first season a tad slow but season 2 is incredible and thus far season 3 is even better

The Pacific is pretty good. I checked out the first two episodes tonight.

I saw previews for Simon's Treme and some other show with Buschemi made by Scorsese. They both look really good.

The Pacific is ridiculously good thus far.  I am not sure what episode I like the best thus far, probably the first.  Last nights was really good.

a lot of people from other sites i go to were bitching about the entire episode focusing on shore leave in Australia, but i think it was a good episode to show the human side of the guys.

and i love the jesse move in the 2nd episode.  so awesome.

SB I agree it was definitely to show the human side.  People were probably just bitching because it wasn't all blood and guts.  So far the series is on par with BOB in my opinion. 

That is saying something because BOB is one the best things that has ever been on film whether it is a movie or television imo.  Then again I am a war junkie.

Negative, as much as all that fascinates me I'd rather not deal with all the BS that goes along with it.
